About PalletEtc
Our Story
I've been a carpenter in the Pittsburgh East End since 2012. Beginning in Greenfield, I have worked to create beauty in customers' homes for over 12 years. After seeing how much material is wasted, I began salvaging used building material and packing shelves in a Squirrel Hill garage for future plans to put it to use. In 2016, after a serendipitous meeting with another artist, my creative vision came to fruition. What began in my basement with a single wooden pallet and can of chalk paint has transformed into a collection of over 300 pieces of unique custom work!
UPDATE 12/2024 Most of the creations are gone, sold or gifted to friends. After purchase of property in east pittsburgh, in 2021, my artistic flair has meshed with my carpentry skills to create many unique home remodeling projects. As individual projects are completed I will be posting the before and afters on here. In the upcoming years, I aim to help other homeowners as well as DIY enthusiasts with their own projects, beyond the mundane kitchen/bathroom remodels, and more into Pinterest style home creations. Do you have a unique idea that you would love to attempt, but need construction/tool guidance? Reach out to me, share the idea. I may be willing and able to help.

Grand Opening Gallery
< November 24-25, 2017 >
We opened our doors to the public for the first time in a two day showcase of all things pallet. Mimosas and snacks, pallets and conversation, it was a great experience to share some of our newest creations with locals and visitors. Though no longer showcasing at the Regent Square location, visit any of our Events or the Funky Urban Creation collection to purchase your pallet piece today! |
